How To Level Up the Salien Badge?

EDIT: This post is about the Salien badge, not the Summer Sale badge

My Salien badge is at level 2. I've been playing the game quite a bit (just got my Salien to level 8), and I'm curious if anyone has found out how to increase it's level? The highest rank as of writing this is 8. Is it just a LOT of grinding for higher levels? Also, if that's the case, is there anything more difficult than the hard tiles in the Salien game? The cards for the Summer Sale badge show that there will be a boss, but the time it must take to rank up past level 8 is getting ridiculous.

He is talking about the salien badge not the summer sale badge.

So far just keep increasing it's level is all we have found out so far but it sounds like level 6 is the max.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat, I reached level 8 and saw that it was far more than double the experience you've already gotten to get to 9. I am so curious as to how people have high level Salien badges.

Could be the time spent on a planet or simply the time spent playing.

I didn't see anyone with level 3 badge yet, but my guess would be that it's for every 3 game levels.

worse case scenario: level 3 badge = level 10 in game = could be 1 million exp

That's why they invented auto reload scripts that can kill everything when they get on screen.

So that post mentions that you unlock the lvl 2 badge for reaching lvl 6. I hope it's not every 6 levels either way lvl 30 is just

I'm level 6 on my salien but am only level 1 salien badge. So, either the game is not working correctly for everyone, or there is more to leveling up the badge than just "every 3 levels of the alien".

I've finally confirmed that you reach Salien Badge rank 3 when you get your Salien to level 9. I'm guessing the next rank up would be at 12, but considering the exp to get to 9 was 450,000, good luck to you if you like to play games without using scripts. The fact that almost every tile is beaten by the same two groups that advertise scripts on their group homepage is very discouraging to those of us that just want a chance at winning a free game. So it goes.
