Is Fanatical safe to buy from?

I checked the history of this forum about them and saw that they changed their name from BundleStar and thought that was odd. Are they a legit safe site to buy from? Steam allowed?

ok I see I still have the games in my library... the Android Steam app is not showing these games...

I think it is a very good question, I do not know Fanatical is safe or not. But I told you I bought a game "Metro" with my personal credit card on Fantical successfully, then the next week I got my personal credit card fraud for USD$10K.... it was totally a nightmare! I am not joking, it is true...

It's unfortunate what happened to you but it was just a coincidence. Fanatical is an authorized seller and is completely safe.

yourr pc probably had malware. or a keylogger. there are only so many ways someone can get all the info to your card. most people use 1 device for all their gaming/web browsing/busniess stuff and that is not a good thihng if you dont follow proper security checks regularly AND make sure not to get baitited into watchihng free porn and bait fake news links.

fanatical is ok. i was talking about teh guy who had his cc info stolen and how taht was most likely NOT even fanaticals fault. AN not all free porn. its those shady NON legit porn sites.. the ones that normally host illegal stuff to begin with The one being that you use Flash Player or something similar. Flash Player has been known for years now to be full of security exploits.
Playing a video through it does not mean that all it does is playing a video. The website that hosts the video can easily make it so that various kinds of codes can get executed. That is because Flash Player is not restricted to videos, it has multiple uses and it has the ability to execute code up to a certain point. as well as The most likely situation would be if a someone made a file that appeared to be a video format but was instead a different format that infects you as you attempt to open the file (which you’re assuming to be a video but may actually be an executable containing a malicious payload). most cc theft most the time links back to malicious porn links or scam fake news sites that drop keyloggers :P

I'm 100% sure that didn't happened because of Fanatical.

Fanatical is totally safe. I've been using it for the past few years (purchased bundles both via PayPal and directly with my credit card) and my card got charged only the amount that Fanatical said in the checkout, nothing more.

And I purchased a plenty of games from there.

All keys worked perfectly and I never had any problems with my account, games or my credit card after purchasing games.

Fanatical is my second favorite bundle website (Right after Humble Bundle)

99% of the videos are free and you can watch up to 1080p quality without needing to log in or put any informations anywhere.
Just don't click on advertisements.
Those are where you can get malware or your credit card stolen.
It's best to use adblock so you don't even get to see those ads.

Fanatical is one of the best. They've evolved over the years but still commit to being a reliable seller of digital games, with bundle deals you won't find anywhere else.
