1 letter steam usernames?

Hello, I've been seeing these 1 letter steam usernames all over steam but I can't find out how the users do it. Would be great if someone told me how.

ASCII characters. There are some that are invisible but still count as a character.

When editing you name, try this:

Hold alt. Push 2 5 5. Relese alt key. It should leave a blank.

Either i'm not doing it right, or it's not working?

Apparently you arn't holding alt and using the num pad to enter it, cause it works just fine

Oh yes thank you, but steam won't let me use the single letter S? That is my question

I used the code for it also, but steam says it needs to be greater than 2 characters

You use the ASCII character to make a blank and then use the S as a second character. It's a two character username but you only see the S.

Yall this post 2 years old, steam updated it to where you can put 1 letter users as of last year/several months ago.
