Pleasye fix Index Controller Snap Turn to the right. (to the left works)

I'm stuck in the 1st room, I've gotten the 1st cube from the green area. But I can't figure out how to open the outer door to get a cube in. I thought blocking the electrical path in the ceiling would help, but doesn't seem to. Any hints/suggestions?
