Is there really 30 hours of content ?

Just finished the game, it was a nice experience.

I saw some reviews saying it took 30 hours to do all the islands and explore all the content. I finished the game in 10h (normal difficulty ofc) and though I did not do all the rusty islands, I did most of them and I checked on internet, I did not miss any other island.

I played this game alone so def I was probably quicker than coop players but yeah...

Just learned there are two endings too lmao... It felt my choice had no consequences at all during the dialogues, so I thought there is only one ending possible. Though I felt the plot definitely left enough space for a second ending during my playthrough

I generally take it slow, and I tried to get as many of the banter scenes as I could, so it really took me a bit over 30 hours to finish my first (solo) play-through. I did spend a bit of that trying to trigger one specific scene that never triggered for me (maybe a bug). Now on my second play-through I was progressing much faster, so I think it's reasonable to say that the core completion takes maybe 10-15-ish hours, and you have additional optional content like the boss fights, cleaning all the islands, seeing all banter scenes, gardening, maybe achievements if that's your thing, and so forth, that can give up to 15-20 hours more.

Yeah its a rather short game, 100% in less than 20 hours (would had been 16 if I didnt get stuck due to bad controls/RNG). I dont mind tho, its was fairly memorable and had solid OST...sometimes I just dont have time to play 200 hours of a JRPG.

yeah like no offense to OP but some of us have jobs and lives outside of video games lol. as much as i love rich content games, there's a point where i'll just never realistically be able to see all of that content. short games are fine and have their place.

Wasn't complaining at all, this game has the perfect length. I was just really surprised by some steam reviews saying that it takes 30h to explore all the content (they were not even talking about 100%). That's why i'm asking about it, because I was wondering if I missed something.

Don't worry I started my intership last week, don't have as much time as before either....

I don't really see how anyone could get 30 hours from this in one playthrough. It was a great 15-16 hours to 100%, and an hour of that was waiting for night time and the secret boss for the achievements.

And I spend a lot of time just sleeping and eating, and going through everything in the Nest to see all the cutscenes I could at every chance. Like I took it slow but if you're going 30 hours you're taking it sloooooooow.

Yeah that's why I was so surprised after completing the game and reading this in a review lmao

15 to explore everywhere kinda chill. I did take my time and explore everywhere but I don't think I got all the achievements.
