Visitor Pathing
Visitors that need medical care are landing but not walking from the landing pad to the base or medical rooms they just disembark and stand around waiting to be picked up again then the cycle repeats

Yeah I had that too I think you have to expand the tourist permission to the landing pad.
But I've had more than a few tourists run out of O2 and have to be carried in.
Weird.

What's also weird is that I also get a lot of visitors in need of medical care who use my med beds, even though I don't have the medical service turned on (just diner, entertainment and sleep).
I don't know, maybe they come for other services and just happened to be injured.

Ah, now that you mention it, I have seen passed out tourists as well.

I've actually had better luck since removing the landing pad from toruist/vistor permission
I didn't have this issue in my first game, but now I've got it. Saved the game right when I turned on medical services and reloaded over and over trying different things to fix it. Found no "solution" and submitted and in-game report and the save file.

They're acting like "sugar ants" ... wandering around, pathing, looking. Multiple parties come and go with no luck. Then SOMEONE finds a medical bed. Now that one ant has found the bait they seem to all find it no problem.

What's odd is during this same time, I got a request for "medical assistance" mission. They found the beds just fine while the "visitors" could not.

EDIT: I also tried adding an Entertainment area and turning that on ... they couldn't seem to find that either.
yeah do no include the asteroid at all in your tourist overlay, only inside the hull areas; otherwise they'll wander around like they're having a smoke, then pass out, and your crew has to go pick them up and carry them in, wasting precious logistics. figured that out B2 launch day.

the most luck I'm having is having it all at the main airlock. they disembark, walk into the DINER / ENTERTAINMENT area directly, with SLEEP below the DINER and MEDICAL just a door off to the side, like it was a bathroom. and on the far wall, the door into the actual base, which they cannot traverse. having them path through your maze of placements and doors makes them cranky and they get lost, idle around, basically don't do what they're expected to. but one large connected area that handles all your on-the-rock services, much better tourists behaviour.

I'm learning exactly this and have expanded (which was alwasy the plan anyway) to have a seperate area really close to the landing pad with better access for visitors. Helps a lot, same as having no asteroid painted.
Fixed in today's update (Build 9)!!!

is that out now?
Yes indeed. I believe the bug was introduced in the previous build ... I did a lot of testing yesterday trying to see if I could find a way to make it work (I couldn't).

I had no sooner made a post about my findings than I see an update queued! I download it and re-opened my test saves and it works like a charm. Deleted my post and replaced it with the good news!
