I totally agree. Those large icons are annoying (the "storage full" ones as well), especially since they are also clickable and it's sometimes difficult to click on something behind these icons.

Smaller icons would be a solution. Or an overlay option to enable and disable them.

well the storage full icons and such are a helper, the key is just anoying, you know what you have done to maek the key appear, so there is no need for it to appear in the first place, especialy when you configured the obejct in question that way that it does what you want it to do.
