Space Haven

Space Haven

Beta 0.21.0 A few observations / semibugs.
Shuttles no longer show inventory when using hotkeys.

Before the shuttle would show the inventory when pressing the hotkey assigned. This was very convenient when you had your view focused on for example a derelict, so you could monitor when the shuttle was unloading back at base, without having to change view.

Asteroid pod builders got no option to disable logistics.

Away missions.

Give us the ability to see the information on travel times etc. without having to draft a crew, board the shuttle and click the “launch mission”

Consider allowing us to change mission underways. if a better or more important mission appears, while on route.

The notification bar is quite easy to miss, for when an away mission is ready. Perhaps change that to a pop up like the one for when the mission appears.

Travel times seem very long. Perhaps a tech tree addition to speed up travel times, 50% - 100% - 200%...

Not having access to the work schedule on away missions is a real pita. If you hit sleep time, your crew stop working and you have to manually order each task through the task manager, and everyone is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ their pants.
Either freeze time, allow us to adjust the schedule, or consider letting crew sleep, eat and use toilets in the shuttle, but with a debuff, Like :
l had to sleep in the shuttle cargobay. My back hurts and I don’t feel rested. - 5 mood.
I found an old survival ration in the shuttle, it tasted horrible and I feel sick. - 5 mood.
I had to do my business in a bucket in the back of the shuttle. - 5 mood.

Spinning too fast.

The amount of “away missions” and derelicts seem very high at the beginning of the game.
Perhaps consider a gradual spinning rate, so at gamestart it is a slow spin, then increase over time. Or it could be a tech tree feature, where you research 1.25x - 1.5x - 2.0x and so on. Then through a drop drown, you can speed up, or drop down spinning if you feel overwhelmed.

Asteroids.

Crew seems very aggressive now. Often manning operations consoles and starfighters as soon as the asteroid appears at the edge of the map, hours before impact. Or for asteroids that pose no threat to the base, but might hit a npc ship.

Why not an asteroid turret. It would seem quite logical to build those outside, around your base.

Fire / micro breaches etc.

Crew now seem very keen to take off their spacesuit before going to put out fires. Even if you draft and manually order them to put on spacesuits, as soon as you undraft, they take off the spacesuit and then go get hurt by fire, low temp etc.
In previous versions they were much better at recognizing they needed to keep the spacesuit on.
