Something to tell me how much of a resource I have when a ship is requesting it

When a ship hails me and asks for resources, I don't see a way to be able to tell how many I have. I'm kinda stuck in a yes/no situation. Guys just asked for energy cells and I said no as I didn't know how many I currently had in stock.

Yeah. This would be helpful.

not just there, but everywhere! there's a good dozen places where seeing what's in storage and seeing your current usage/consumption average would be handy so you don't have to memorize or have to multi-click to get to see it, after closing what you're doing, since you can't seem to have multiple modal windows open.

even looting derelicts or unloading cargo containers... you just finished taking down 3 huge flagship enemies, oh look 26 plasma rifles, them's good money, but hover, and see you've only got 100 storage remaining and already have 1281 plasma rifles, and suddenly you're OK with just leaving a measly ~26k worth of weaponry behind.
