Disable Starmap Zoom-out Effect

Hey folks,

I've been enjoying this phenomenal game for years and one of the reasons I like it so much is that it demands sooo little from my laptop. Yet, recently I've been noticing huge FPS drops when I switch to the starmap. The zoom-out animation when I'm in a sector with a nebula is quite choppy and a bit jarring.

Can we have (in the next patch or so) an option to disable the starmap zoom animation?

It really is the only issue that I have with this otherwise perfect game.
