Crew zone permissions or Door permissions

Would be nice if we would get crew operation field management tool before devs close shop.

Either to let us place a permission zone for specific crew to operate in. - this means we can add a crew to this zone and he will do his stuff only within this zone when on the ship.

Or maybe give us the option to set permissions on doors, so that crew without permission can not go through and thus can do tasks only in reachable sectors!

If both of these are dificult to implement, then please let us have a TWO-ACCES POINT STORAGE (on the opposite sides) . Which we can place between walls and thus the crew can access only one side. This will allow us to lock doors and force crew to operate in the areas we need without blocking resource flow.

This would help hugely with crew operations management.

Edit: Even a simple door lock separation, so that we can lock out crew or bots separately, while allowing the other to pass freely, would already be a big help.

I guess you mean Stranded:Alien dawn? Those flags are quite inaccurate and dificult to setup for different areas on the base, but yes, its similar. Would allow at least some sort of efficient work management.

Yeah well, not going to discuss the flags in SAD lol.
Maybe tie their movement restrictions to the colour/motive of the floor ? Would give that colouring option some functional benefit ?

That is very similar, kinda the same as the zone permission system that is already in game. We just need the option to create crew-specific ones and assign crew members that are to operate only within them.
