I second this and our fellow gamer beats me to it. We need workshop!

£75 from me and you took a 2 week break. I have been trying so hard to love this game but the visual and functional bugs need to be sorted ASAP.

As for communication, just get on with it and keep us updated. Let's not make a mountain out of a molehill. You released this game in an EA state, you have to accept there are people who are pissed off. The longer you take to get this game into a decent state the more people are going to vent. After all, you took their money.

You can rest assured that you are the one harming the community. You deliver inferior quality but charge full price. Instead of working hard to eliminate the problem, take a leisurely, long vacation. If you deliver such crap, you shouldn't be surprised if the community reacts accordingly. You should save yourself your weekly stalling tactics. I'm done with this game and your company and I want my money back! I was cheated by the company colossal paradox. I would never have bought such crap!!!

I also would like to see workshop integration. However, that being stated, if the modifiers are going to be more regulated on the Paradox mod portal, then I am all for it. I am tired of seeing copies, garbage, stolen copyrighted materials, and broken mods at release on the steam workshop. I will get this game in due time when I feel it is necessary to do so. Right now, it looks like a giant cheese grater ran over the world repeatedly due to how bad the graphics look. I also have been watching imKibits and see a lot of bugs happening i nthat game when he plays it. I have faith in you however, CO as you all seem to be serious about these issues. Paradox, not so much as they had the audacity to force you to release this game in the condition it is in right now. am with you Colossal Order. I do not see the reason why people are squawking about this game in such a malicious and toxic manner. I have had games I paid good money for get completely abandoned or were horrible earlier on in life during the floppy disk, CD, and DVD era, and I just took it with a grain of salt.

Uh... look. Publisher forced them to release early, least people could do is not be mean to the CO devs. While devs aren't always blameless, I do think in this case they are trying to do a good thing here. If ppl keep up the toxic feedback, we are just going to end up hearing less. Its hard to work effectively when you keep getting reminded that your customer base hates you, however justified that anger is.

Well all I can say is good luck with improving the game I hope it all gets taken care of. And when that happens I'd like to see a positive turn for the game. Best of wishes.

The reason people are being "toxic" is because you charged $60 - $90 for an unfinished game. You'd expect the second iteration of a well-known, highly cared for city building simulator to come with the most popular thing about the original game: Modding/Steam Workshop.

When the community found out after paying the overpriced amount you are charging that not only would modding not come with the game, it wouldn't even have an ETA, AND on top of that wouldn't be in the form of the Steam Workshop. Then, when players who paid $90 for the deluxe version found out the timeline to release the assets and expansions promised upon purchasing the game would be delayed to make time for a feature that should've released with the game, the community got rightfully angry.

Thanks for the update. It's a shame people can't communicate while holding their emotions in check. It's a video game and CO people are just trying to do their jobs. But that's gamers for you.

Happy New Year

I have noticed two big problems, which I believe are problems that everyone faces, based on what I have read.

The first problem is related to TAA. Although this anti-aliasing technique is the most efficient for eliminating jagged edges, it causes several strange graphical bugs (ghosting when cars move, flickering when zooming in on roads and/or during winter).

The second is the speed of the simulation. When reaching around 200k inhabitants, the simulation starts to become problematic, with vehicles and people moving slower and time passing more slowly. Although I don't have the best PC in the world (Rtx 3060 and Ryzen 7 3700x with 32gb of ram), it's a good enough PC to be able to run the game without any major problems (I can understand having problems with whatever... 800k residents , but 200k is a low number to start having problems).

Is there anything being addressed internally to resolve these issues as quickly as possible? Like I said, it's not just my problem, it's a chronic problem.

Sorry but I don't understand your argumentation. The devs aren't allowed to take a vacation on holidays because you payed 75 bucks what is not nearly the amount of the net income of one developer in a month??

I can understand if you are upset that you pay a early access game for a fullprize. but at the end you know about the product and bugs so you had the chance to refund.

At the end I am waiting until the performance is better and for now I am still happy with the game. there are improvements for the vanilla gameplay and I know that paradox needs time and sk2 is a very good game in one year :)

best wishes and happy new year

Wishing you and everyone a happy 2024.
Hats off to you behind the latest version! Having spent over eight years immersed in your previous creation, the new release feels like a familiar yet incomplete product.
However, we believe in your dedication and it's clear that you have upped your game with this version.
Hoping you listen to the community and added some of the features we've been wishing for whenever you are able too.
Cheers to an even better gaming experience!
