I remember Mariina saying in the doc-video that the game should be released late 2020 - early 2021. Imagine.

Also,"beta" all over the place in this diary. The human unconscious is something fascinating.

I went back to Cities Skylines I. Why? I'll be honest with you. CS II is kinda hollow. I love this genre and I spent a ton of hours with the firt game but after roughly 100h with CSII it kind of has no drive. Yes perhaps it's obvious because it lacks the amount of content we have in CSI and I keep to believe that we will come to this. But I realized that a game from 2015 despite the quirky graphic, the old engine and several bugs or crashes it still makes more fun to build cities. It feels more challenging to come up with creative solutions because the simulation has flaws or you can't build that precise. I believe that you the devs are kind hearted people and that you truly want to create a fantastic experience with this game. But the road to this goal has a lot of potholes (buggy game, no workshop, price tag) you need to fix and the toxicity of the community isn't really helping either imo. Yes, we feel betrayed, that's true. I'll let CS2 lie for a bit in my library and continue creating worlds in CS1 until I think CS2 feels ready again. DEVS please keep it up, improve, deliver, and don't feel pushed down by the negativity. Making big games is not easy. Much love, a city builder.

I'm excited for the the map editor!

I decided to think this game is in the "early access stage" now. Thankfully, I got permission to access this game about a year earlier.

I guess we can look forward to enjoying this game once the product is completed. Nothing like full price for a partial product with heaps of performance issues and undelivered content.

No performance improvements? When can we expect DLSS?

One has to wonder if we bought a game, or if we invested in a Kickstarter that will never deliver on their product. It’s increasingly apparent why the marketing for the game focused so heavily on the game’s development, why the gamers invited to play it were locked into a certain level structure, and more. Because there wasn't really a game to speak of. Just a dev environment that didn’t go through proper QA, and we were sold a lemon. I would not be shocked at all, if the game is never truly fixed. The lack of definitive timelines or deadlines as we call them in similar industries, and each patch causing new game breaking issues: I’m suspecting the core mechanics are broken and not fully fixable. That we aren’t getting any specifics about the technical hiccups is suspect and worrying. If it were something easy to fix we would have been told what it was.

i wont play it anymore, such a bad game. there are better games to play. when i will play a city builder, i play cs1.

End of March is such a shame... you guys forget that there are some better releases and the players will run away from your game. cause u dont finished the game truely and take sooo long to make this game modable.. hope that was ur last game.
