System hang on exit?

Anyone else experiencing this? Apparently I shouldn't ever, ever, stop playing CS2...

So, when I quit the game, it...stops. Goes away. Sort of. Except it's still there 'running', usually showing something on screen from a time before I quit the game. I can alt-tab around, I can interact with windows start menu.

I just can't DO anything with anything else.

Alt-f4 doesn't do anything. According to process lasso, its still running away happily, using almost no CPU and apparently as low memory usage as it can, 2GB.
Getting task manager open doesn't do it either, since, again, I can't actually interact with it. I can see it if I alt-tab around, but even 'selecting' it in the background won't let me interact with it.

So, restart computer. Every time. Which isn't that much of a bother, but honestly something that I shouldn't have to do...

Haha. Ok, now it's only like half the time it hangs up everything. Now, the other half of the time it does the same thing, but at least I can do other things. Hell, I have a snowy glitched load menu just sitting there as I type this.

Fortunately, when its this kind of hang I can just kill steam and it force quits it, since IT DOES NOT SHOW UP ANYWHERE. Not task manager, not process lasso. Assassin style, yo.

I have the same problem. Sometimes the game hangs when I quit. Other times it stops fine.

Mine hangs and I get error Unity 2022.3.44f1_c3ae09b9f03c but it eventually closes.

Also, you. Thanks to you I know how to use pathways to force the zoning grid to go where I want. For the most part. So, thank you. Hopefully that good karma helps with the Unity error.

Thanks for the link. Do I report a crash? I guess the game didn't actually crash - just exit was weird. Or a bug?

...right, considering the main part was 'Can't interact with anything'. And when it hangs up like that and it's possible too, it doesn't appear in task manager.

Just exited and error no longer comes up. Maybe they knew about it and fixed it?

To be fair, it may have just been Unity being Unity. Up there for frikkin awesome and ease of use for development, one of the worst for end users, hah.
