FAF mods not working
So i downloaded Blackops Unleashed from FAF's client, went in game(not FAF) and the mods didn't work, both my resources were at 0 and gaining 0, units with no icon in the build menu, :/
help?

Most FAF mods only work on FAF.

You said you downloaded Blackops Unleased from the FAF client and played in vanilla FA so I don't know why you're expecting it to work.

Because not everyone know how modified and incompatible FAF is compared to the steam client. Unless there is a clear "only works with FAF" warning on it near the top, why would you assume it is FAF-only, specially since FAF mostly advertises itself as a 3rd-party lobby client, not as a incompatible "community edition".

okay, got blackops working through FAF, new units have the place holder icon in the build menu :/
using black ops icon support, still not working

Why not just use FAF to play BlackOps?
FAF has built in icon support

If you want to use Blackops series, head to the old GPG vault and download the outdated version which also contain bugs (Example: Mobile Nuclear Cannon cant use its... nuclear cannon)

The lastest version that is compatible with Steam and Retail store is:
BlackOps Unleashed V10-3652-06
BlackOps Special Weapons V4-3652-04
BlackOps Adv Command Units V15-3652-04
BlackOps Global Icon Support Mod V6.1-3652-03

But those was deleted from FAF vault because some idiots think that everyone will use FAF so the result is only FAF compatible version remain.

I know this is old, 2017, but where the hell do i find BlackOps Unleashed V10, I don't want to play forged alliance forever to play BlackOps. Its really not fair.

FAF is a better choice than the default game. The UI is improved, many of the original game's bugs are fixed and you can also play all campaign missions of FA or SupCom as well as some custom missions there. It has a map- and mod vault and in case you don't want to play with others you can still play solo by creating a password protected game.

The site Link[archive.is] lists BlackOps Unleashed v6 as the latest version for the official game. So I assume any version higher than that requires FAF for compatibility reasons.

Edit: Found verification for this: "BlackOps V10 is now on the Vault. It's the Featured version, re-written to be compatible with FAF." (source: Link[forums.faforever.com])
