what will make me buy the game and this is an important point for me is its difficulty. what are the difficulty modes offered, will there be any challenge?

We offer 3 modes of difficulty. On normal, the game is already challenging, but not challenging in a way that Dark Souls is, but challenging in a way that Baba is You is. So it is more of a thought puzzle. The hard dofficulty is VERY hard. But not impossible.

can you change difficulty in the middle of a campaign?

Yes, but not during a level. You need to restart a level or the new difficulty will be applied after you finish the current level.

Currently i'm playing on Hard and it's reasonably challenging but not very hard. All you need is some planning.
