Running out of water
I've played long enough that the bladder fish are nearly depleted and I've been dying from thirst. Any chance of TEMPORARILY dialing up the bladder fish spawns until either the large aquarium is available in the game (to breed bladder fish on our own), or until the water purifier is available in game, or some other alternative water source is available?

Also eat Creepvine seeds they give 10 h2o per seed

Yes creepvine seed clusters are all that is keeping me going now. No bladderfish at all and the eye eyes are getting scarce.

This works for Below Zero though not sure if it effects the fish? (I've not yet ran out of them) Just go to the Below Zero folder instead of the Subnautica folder and you should be good.

"Navigate to Steam/steamapps/common/Subnautica/SNApData/SavedGames and then most likely slot0000 if you have only one game going. In slotxxxx you want to empty out CellsCach and CompiledOctreesCache

Make sure you don't have any floating lockers floating in the water, they will disapear. Your base and anything in it will be fine, as will your vehicles."

Try leaving the area for a half hour or so. Go swimming with glow whales. Have a chat with the emperors. Search for the deepest point - or for the hidden precursor site. Give the poor starting biome time to respawn everything you've been chewing on and sucking the tears out of.

This seems to work for me. Often times I'm far away from the Twisty Bridges in areas without any bladderfish. Thankfully, this means there's always plenty to make into water when I come back.

Thanks, but I tried that already. Bladder fish just don't respawn that quickly and I still need water when I'm off exploring other biomes. I'm trying not to use console commands, but it may be impossible to avoid them with the game still missing so much. I'll try the Creepvine clusters, and see if that helps. I didn't know they had water. 10 water isn't much, but it's better then nothing.

The bladderfish are extinct in my game. They do not respawn in real time days.

I swam around for 40 minutes, hitched a ride on a whale and fell asleep for 30 minutes, then swam back to base in 15 minutes and still no bladderfish. That was just today and I have not seen a bladderfish in 2 days.

I try to stay away from using the Bladder fish as much as possible now so as not to fish them out.

Using some other fish sources, but mostly Creepvines +5 food, +1 water....and Creepvine seed clusters +10 water.

i think i saw that the water filter is in the game. at least when i made the game give me the blueprint. and there might be one at the island base. but if it is in the blueprints you can just use the command unlock basefiltrationmachine. and then use no cost if u cant find the items u need to make it. or im pretty sure all of the items are already in game

I just used console commands to unlock a water filtration. I have the philosophy that if the I see it in game but can't scan, it I unlock it. But only if its needed I did the same thing for the battery charger.

Devs should let us milk Pinnacarids for another source of drinkable liquid.

Pinnacarid milk is delicious. :steamhappy:
