please scale back on the snow storms...
This isn't fun at all... Got to the area where you get the Snow Fox... Every 5 minutes at least I get a blinding snow storm that I can't see 2 inches in front of me.. making me just sit and stare at the screen until it goes away, then I walk for about another minute, and another snow storm.. it sucks all the fun out of the game.. At least let me see a few feet in front of me..

I dunno, personally, I love the snow storms a lot. I just like how you see those cool effects and everything gets foggy and stuff. It's also cool in water, because you can see hail and stuff fall into the water.

I agree, they should either be rarer or shorter.

Definitely rarer

I feel like they already *did* scale these back a bit from the initial frequency (probably very frequent at first just for testing purposes on Experimental) but also agree that they could be scaled back even more.

I agree, the constant blinding snow is very annoying. go out for a few minutes, then wait for storms to pass. I'm not sure why they bothered with stuff on land if it is going to be like that all the time.

Ayup. That's me too. Snowstorms are at least 1/3rd of the game time.

I think everyone agrees here, the weather is bad and there arent any helmets to negate weather effects either.

I agree! This isn't fun at all...

Probably the most obvious place to look if you want to see convincing snow storms that work well in a gaming environment is The Long Dark.

You can see far enough to navigate but still feel like you're deep in the storm.

That's a very good example.

Can't agree with this one. Maybe for the "creative" mode.

make some gear for this snowstorm that increase visibility of player + make someplace that there will be a constant snowstorm that will need those gear (not all place in land should have those disaster) problem solved
