If the game really supports switch controllers (which would be unusual) then you would need to disable the controller in steam controller settings. If you check the box in steam next to your Switch controller then steam tells games that it is an Xbox controller (because that is what most games are compatible with) and the prompts won't match unless you do what I said in the previous paragraph.
The same thing has started happening to my significant other when she plays. She was using the Switch Pro controller as well and it has always worked perfectly with the proper labels until today. I think it has to do with the latest update of the Steam Client.
See my post here for some more details: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/2996547001723393118/
You could do that by opening file data\qloc_icons\gamepad.qlaf in a hexadecimal editor, then find character sequences such as k_EControllerActionOrigin_Switch_A and same with _B ending respectively. Change the endings in these sequences from _A to _B and _B to _A.
I hope that helps.
Same... Any mod for PlayStation Prompt ?
You'll get whatever icons Valve has decided for you, and that's the end of discussion :-\
