Second is usually Equipment Fiend.
Third varies, but I generally like the Glory Kill speed buff just for getting around an arena faster.
- Blood Fuelled
- Equipment fiend
- Punch and Reave
might try air control after i finish the game, I actually think the glory speed kill is more more disadvantageous since you have less time of invicibility
But I used air control, GK from further away, and faster GK most of the time. Swapped air ctrl out for longer stagger when I had GK challenges.
These let me zip around the arena faster and easier.
The other 2 are usually whatever for me.
-Equipment Fiend
-Punch and Reave
-Seek and Destroy
Equipment fiend is just useful overall to get health and armor back quickly as well as falter demons while dealing massive damage wih grenades. But turns out ANY use of equipment will actually recharge all of them so using a grenade for example will actually charge your flame belch and ice bomb too so thats cool.
Punch and Reave is just nice to keep your health topped off and if it already is, it will give you some blood punch meter back which is REALLY powerful later on. I usually get the Loot Magnet > Quickdraw Belch > Health for Blood which allows me to recharge the blood punch with health pickups (provided I already have full health) and with the ability to recharge the bloodpunch when glory killing a heavy demon, youll have the blood punch available almost all the time and I really use it quite a bit because of it. Also learned how many hits it takes from various weapons + a blood punch to glory kill a heavy to get it right back. Its really freakin good.
Seek and Destroy.... Not sure what to say about this rune. I save my chainsaw for heavy demons most of the time but either way, using the chainsaw will basicly allow you to teleport across the map provided a fodder demon and fuel pip is available. It does however pair very well with the Blood Punch since you can teleport/glory kill like 2 kilometers and get your blood punch back and some health so youre in a better position with more stack. It also gives you a lot more room for error when it comes to glory killing super heavys like Tyrants and Archviles since they are only staggered for like half a second.
Idk what really to say about this rune but when I dont use it my playstyle kinda doesnt work that much. I just blood punch and glory kill quite a bit and this just gives me that back as well as very long range to basicly teleport.
After that the rune that lets you glory kill from farther away since it couples nicely with the first and I usually keep the one that makes demons drop health after a blood punch for last, but that one is negotiable and I don't mind switching it out for something else.
2. Savagery
3. Blood fueled
Blood Fueled
Dazed and Confused
But take this from a dude who can't UN the game, so there may be better combinations that I'm eager to hear of.
Dazed and Confused
Seek and Destroy
The same runes I use in Doom 2016. It's just preference.
1. Air control
2. Dazed and Confused
3. Savagery
I swap savagery with Chrono-strike when required.
