Could there be a power priority feature?
I managed to lose due to Fusion Screw. That is where I upgraded my fusion plants which means I lose. Why?
Because upgrading them meant running out of power during an attack and when out of power the water generators had no power and refused to work. Therefore they had no water to cool the fusion reactors, and there you are. I had water storage to prevent brief interruptions but not enough apparently.

I desperately decoupled the fusion and water from the rest of the network and added more power nearby but somehow this had no effect. I never got a LOCAL power grid. No clue why. There was no energy pylon or connectors.

A simple way to fix this type of stupid issue would be:

1) Have a few simple power toggle controls. All Defenses. All Research. All Mining/Cultivation/etc. Then you could just turn the stuff off, let the water start flowing again and I am good to go.

2) Have a logical order of powering of stuff. Anything potentially affecting power such as pumps (magna, water, morphium, etc) or gas extraction or biomaking, water filtering, etc is first priority. Then mining operations stuff. Then defensive towers.
At the very least, the pump/gas/bio/water could have a built in priority.

While having better power management would be great, why would you upgrade all your plants at the same time though?
Cuz I'm stupid and hadn't played for 6 months....
Even at low power, the turrets get priority and will keep operating at a reduced rate.
The game does actually tell you this multiple times haha
Your main issue will be that ammo is not produced at low power so energy towers will turn off and solid ammo will run out.
