coop not working

tried open world campaign coop with a friend who uses the same mods as me but the game was unable to connect , is it possible that our game versions are incompatible for some reason because i have all the dlc´s and he has not ?

Hi Spirit!

To the best of my knowledge and research...
If DLCs are active in a hosted game, every player who wants to join that game must also own those DLCs.
Conversely, you can own all the DLCs and host a game in which no DLCs are active, which anyone can then join.
Maybe you can also disable them beforehand as the host. I don't know!
You can disable them in Steam!
Just give it a go and let me know.
