Ok. I have spent some time with the product and I can tell you it's a good product. Sometimes the audio gets a little de synced. Sometimes too many photos make it crash. But other than that it's incredibly professional, simple to use, and has a basic sound effect library. The UI is easy to navigate. When you record videos you can go straight to the editor and you can make high quality videos in a matter of minutes instead of hours.

This editing program gives you all that you need to record your gameplay, tutorials or anything you plan to do in your PC. Once you launch it gives you two options:

• Video Editor
  
• Recorder

With the 'Recorder' you can record your screen (Full screen or specific area) it will capture your gameplay sound as well as your own voice if you use a microphone (There is an option to disable it). The resolution and frame rates are really good, I'm also amazed that they included a 'webcam record' as well as PIP where you can include both the webcam recording with the gameplay recording together.

What I liked the most is the video editing because even if you are new to all of this, it will be easy for you to follow the tutorial and be as professional as all the other video editors. There is nothing complicated in the program, I've tried many other video editing programs, but this one by far the easiest of all and still give you the most satisfying results.

There are some built-in intros with music where you can add your choice of texts to it. And if you don't have an audio track you can easily search with another built-in searching system which will fetch you some music for your videos. You can, of course, listen to the track before including it to your project.

It also includes 14 filters and 20 transitions, and once you are done, you can upload it directly to your YouTube channel with a resolution of your choice, up to 1080p-60fps or export the video to a format and quality of your choice, you can even convert the whole video to a GIF!

Pros:
+Easy to use.
+Good videos quality.
+You get both screen recording and video editing program.
+Not bad price for what you are getting.

Cons:
-Not sure if anyone would consider this a con, but there is no steam overlay and it doesn't count how many hours I've used this program. Apparently, it used to work as I've checked the other reviewers 'playing time' but mine seems to not count at all.

I've tried many video editing programs, from the good old Windows Movie Maker to Sony Vegas Pro, and I easily can say this one is really simple and easy to use! I highly recommend this program to beginners and professionals, I don't think you'll regret investing in this editing program.

I cannot, for the life of me, get this app to run!

GoPlay Editor is a very simple and easy to pickup video recorder and editor.

If I were to compare it to a known software then I'd choose Camtasia Studio, though obviously it is much more simplistic than that but has the same premises.

Since you're probably here to know whats in its features I have the PRO version so I'll do my best to explain.

- Record system audio, Mic and edit their volume.
- Adjust fullscreen or selected area recording.
- Add webcam in and you can position it anywhere and resize it with a cool PIP "Picture In Picture" feature.
- Choose to show mouse cursor or not, adjust the video resolution and the FPS and bitrate.
- Hotkeys to start recording or stop among other things.

- Main interface which has your local videos that you recorded, a bunch of intros that you can download and use.
- Timeline which you can drag and drop things in it, zoom in or out for accurate editing and split the videos or edit their features, volume fade ins, play speed...etc.
- A cool feature to note in Audio you can type in the name of a song/band and it will give you a list of their music and you can click to download it via the software and add it to the video you're making, granted it doesn't have the best quality "And I don't know whats their source" but its cool.
- Ability to instantly upload your video to youtube/twitter, supports up to 1080p60fps.
- Exporting projects as MP4,Avi,FLV,MOV,GIF at the desired resolution and FPS.
- Project manager in which you can manage your uploaded/saved projects load them up and carry on working, also have a fail safe if your program crashed or PC shut down next time you open program it will tell you if you wish to restore the last project you worked on and didn't save.
- Obviously it has a bunch of transition and text intro slidings and sound effects, alongside with filters to spice things up.
- Dubbing feature, which you can use while the video is playing to add your own dubs and talk about whats going on, Subbing features where you can add your own subtitles to your video in real time and edit the timestamps.


Issues with the program
- When I launch the program it doesn't launch via steam so my playtime doesn't get counted on steam.
- At first whenever I opened a game it was capped at 40fps if the recorder is opened even if im not recording, had to tweak the recorder's settings and disable vsync at some games in order to fix it.
- I own the pro version but I still get a message to "upgrade to pro version" when I launch the program via the message center, which isn't a big deal since you just close it but its sort of annoying.
- I haven't really tried any premium software so I cant judge if the price is justified for this or not, all the softwares I tried before were free versions, but I gotta say this feels like a very simplistic program aimed for hobbyists, it might not be what you wanna use if you want to make some professionally edited videos
- If you try to repeat a short funny part in the video by putting a few 1sec clips next to each other it will consume a LOT of cpu while playing it and will lag, all in all it feels really unoptimized for a software and has several lag issues while using it.
- there is no way to do multi videos/audios in timeline ...this is really sad.
- the recorder doesn't slow down my games but the output video is always low fps no matter what, I tried setting it to 60 and more but there's no use it always makes the video low fps on some games.

This program was tested in a very old laptop, corei5-3230m GT635m 4GB ram and it worked nicely with about 5% impact on performance whereas other softwares I tried seriously hindered my performance to an unplayable framte rate.

Nice software where you can both record and edit your gaming videos - easily add both video and audio effects, change speed, use different filters and\or transitions. But what i really love about it - how its been updated with new features and possibilities - have a look at the "news" section - at least once a month we can expect something new.

I was hopeful when getting this, but I learned I shouldn't be. I got the free version, and it worked fine, but I wanted the full version to record something over 5 minutes. I got it and it didn't work at all. It didn't allow me access, even after trying everything I could think of. It kept asking for the admin password, and then it just didn't launch like it was supposed to, and when we tried to launch it, it asked again for the password. If I could get some help I might raise the review. But for now, it's a 0/10.

GoPlay Editor is a combined screen recorder and video editor built into a single package. It is simple to use with some nice features. It does not offer select-window recording, which would be much preferred. Also no streaming option, which could be the primary function that some people would look for as well. There is a free demo available to try before you commit, plus free mobile versions on Android and iOS available to try with similarly functional features. Bottom line is that it is quite functional, very few settings needs adjusting, and it is easy to use. Some previous reviews here mention crashing and data loss, but I recorded 5 videos so far, without any crash or loss (longest was only 15 minutes though, unsure about longer/larger projects). Its simplicity is direct at an everyday audience who does not have a ton of experience recording and editing.

GoPlay Editor offers screen or fixed screen location recording, with superimposed webcam projection, as well as a quite functional video editing package built in. It has very few functions to learn, so it may not be for the most experienced screen recording/editing individual. The target consumer is your average person who enjoys his/her game library and who wants to share a recording of what they are playing with friends every once in a while.

When the program launches, it asks whether or not you wish to use the recorder or the editor, answering either would launch the respective subprogram. Both sections are easy to navigate, and your first time going through, the program shows you all of the important buttons and functions. The tutorial takes less than a minute to go through, because most people are familiar with the functions and the icons are easily recognizable.

In the recorder part, you can record screen or webcam contents. (Though not simultaneously, thus rendering the webcam recording function rather useless.) In the screen recording, you can elect to record the entire screen or move and block off a fixed section of the screen to record. This is fairly easy to use, but not as intuitive as the recorders that allows you to clip specific windows. This is a function that is clearly glaringly missing. But if you want to record on full screen all of the time because you only play games on full screen, then this might not be an issue. Though you may still not want to have your Steam chat messages and the like to pop up on your video. Fortunately this is something that can be edited out, as the program does not offer live streaming. This would be another drawback since a lot of people may be looking to video recorders that also offer live streaming for ease of use. It’s nice to have the recorder and editor in one place, it would be even nicer to be able to directly stream.

The main recording can be done by clicking the appropriate functions on the window, or using shortcut keys that can be remapped for your convenience. There is a little ding sound that tells you the recording has started. Within the settings you can choose the recorded video resolution and frequency, keeping it fairly simple for the average user. If you plan to record at 1080P and at 60 FPS with the adaptive bitrate setting that the program offers, you just want to make sure that you have enough space on your harddrive, since this eats away at that rather quickly.

The editor is also very easy to use, with basic function of putting multiple clips together, cutting and deleting sections, dubbing over if you wish to add commentary, or add it by stylized texts, etc. You can also put in music overlay if you wish to do that. Just like so many other video editing software, you have the option to create different projects, or keeping your project in its individual component form so that you can access it later for smaller edits instead of creating new projects.

The recording in the paid version gives you 1080p recording at whatever FPS you designate, and when you go to export your video through the editing software, you can select from a few file types (avi, mp4, flv, mov, and gif), choose the exporting resolution and total bitrate to modify quality for appropriate sizing. An estimate of the total size of the output file before completing the task and then finding out would be nice.

You can also directly upload a video or a project to YouTube, as long as you sign into YT through the program. This is fairly simple and easy to use. But if you do not want to use yet another program to sign into your accounts, you can just take your finalized videos and upload them that way. Of course the best method I see for getting a video ready is just to record at the resolution and frequency of your choice, start the game before you start recording, and complete the recording before exiting the game, that way you can just take the original video file, which is defaulted to .mp4 format, and upload that if you wish. This would save you time and effort.

As noted above, there are some mentions of crash bugs and data loss. I recorded a few videos and did some in-program editing without any difficulty. I also exported to a few different file types and did not run into any of these problems. Of course the longest video I recorded was about 15 minutes, so I cannot speak about longer projects. If this is a recurrent problem for anyone, I would imagine it to be quite undesirable. The only unexpected outcome I had was opening the program after not saving a previous project. The software asked me in Chinese if I wanted to try to save the previously unsaved project. Otherwise, the program functioned without a hitch for me in English.

There is a free demo as well as mobile version available for you to try out before diving fully into the full program, in addition, the developer is offering a 3-month premium version from their Steam discussions: https://steamcommunity.com/app/751390/discussions/0/1726450077684179471/1. So you can certainly get a feel for the program before buying. I personally am recommending this program because I am not too tech savvy, I have very little video editing experience, and I don’t stream. My plan was to record and do simple edits of smaller video files, so this works perfectly fine for me.

This is actually exactly what I was looking for. A simple yet robust video editor that is beginner friendly, yet technical at the same time so it's got enough to do whatever you would want to with an advanced video editor.

I'm very impressed to say the least and will be using this quite frequently for whatever videos I might release in the future.

As a first time recording software user, found this to be easy to use with easy to input key toggles, for gameplay recording. Was able to record fullscreen or reduce the screen recorded for indie titles, crystal clear sound and no performs well as a lightweight editor as a side function. Webcam functionality is neat to use in the future to record commentary live through gameplay sessions, pre-added on using the "Dub" feature.

The introductory tutorial is neat but managed to figure out what to do easily without any assistance "Export", icon labels, "Split", "Delete" and "Undo" buttons just to name a few. The software also allows you to directly upload to YouTube tm with a simple "Cloud Icon" for upload, adding typical descriptors there such as title, description, tags without needing to use external software.

The editor section includes various "Intros (18)", "Transitions (20)", "Sound Effects (60)", "Filters (14)" templates which are useful but the core value is the ability to import your own media, You can download previews of Intro's/Audio but do need to download these through the easy "+" icon, great to keep the core software size down. I have to admit the included intros are somewhat generic (Yourself is the best intro for any video in my opinion), but giving credit where it's due it isn't bad.

Overall GoPlay Editor is easy to pick up and user for any first time Video sharer or even game enthusiast.

First off, I'm very impressed on how simple this is to use. It has just the right amount of tinker for you to accomplish what you need to. The recorder does a great job recording in fullscreen at 1080p, and although I had trouble getting the audio to work the first time, the second time it worked just fine. I turned the volumes down and then up again, maybe that helped, idk, but it works and sounds good. The video is really great quality. You can set your own hotkeys. Another great feature is that you can go right into editing the video after you're done recording it.

The GoPlay Editor is super easy to use and has all the features you need to make a great video for upload. Transitions, text, and even premade intros that you can use on your videos. (You get more with pro) You can even import your own videos and splice them in.

All in all, I wasn't expecting such a great product. GoPlay Editor is a nice little piece of software, especially if you're planning on creating YouTube videos. Oh yeah, forgot to mention that the editor also has filters which you can apply on any video you have, they're pretty cool to use.

The only things that I would like to see is maybe a better compression features for the file types, and also some streaming capabilities, but other than that, this is far above what I was expecting.

I was given this copy by the developer, however that does not change my opinion one way or another about this software. If it was bad, I would truthfully let you know.
