Best Tales of game?
Have never played one and there are so many of them. Since they are having a sale I was wondering which is the best one to start out with.

You can pretty much play any, they aren't in the same universes. There are only a few that has sequels like Xilia and then Berseria and zestiria are connected to each other.

You can start with Arise and go back to other games whenever you feel like it.

I don't know about the rest but this one is one of the best game I've ever played. Obviously you could very well not get the same mileage out of it but its for sure a great game. It has excellent combat, good companions, nice love story and the best, a awesomely satisfying ending.

ı played Tales Of Zesteria And Tales Of Arise I think its the only one that has romance in it and its so beautiful anyways in zesteria u can only play at 30fps and it was really pain but story was really good Tales of Zesteria And Tales Of Berseria is the same universe like after 100 years or something u can play arise first then berseria after zesteria ı think

All games released on Steam except for Zestiria are solid, honestly. Symphonia, Vesperia, Berseria and Arise are good games.

Symphonia is the oldest, so it has less quality of life on it. Might pick that one to start. If you want to play the rest of the series you'll have to emulate, tho. Phantasia, Eternia, Abyss, Destiny R, Graces f, Xillia/Xillia 2, Innocence R, Hearts R...a bunch of games still missing a PC release.

If you don't care about graphics, I personally start out with Berseria as it was really something different from a typical JRPG story. It had the better story than Arise, but the combat is unpolished when comparing although it wasn't much of an issue.

Vesperia is probably the fan favorite, and alot of that is because the main character is immediately likable and fun, so it's really easy to get into the game. Arise definitely has a more action-y combat system, though.

Either this or Berseria. Berseria has more content and better story. Arise was enjoyable up to the point it turned star oceany.

Every tales has its own flavor, gameplay wise you may dislike them a bit after playing this one, and try to avoid the Berseria fans suggestions, they like that game just because of the almost naked female mc and the edgy story.

To me Vesperia cause it has the best mc by far. Berseria second. I'm gonna try this one, let's hope it can be a contender.

Avoid the Berseria-haters; they just cry about the art design and don't understand the story.

Not played this new one but of the previous ones Symphonia and Vesperia are hands down my two favorites. Going to pick this new one up now as its the only one I havn't tried :)

Tales of Phantasia or Symphonia are best to start with, only one of those is available on PC though.
