Since it worked before and still works with other games, I'd guess some minor software glitch.

Did you try the usual simple things, like completely closing/restarting Steam, unplugging the controller/plugging it back in (if wired), unplugging any other USB/peripherals, rebooting your PC, all of that?

Thanks for your answer, yes i try all of that, but no improvement. I am devastated ^^

You have to have Steam Input enabled, the game cannot read gamepad input without it.

Confirm that Steam actually recognizes your gamepad.

I switch the setting to Steam Imput, but it didn't change anything

Load a configuration from the Steam Controller Settings - Alternatively install DS4, it works also flawlessly with Xbox Pads

DS4 Windows won't work in this game, it uses the native Steam Input API.

I try DS4, steam recognizes the dualshock 4 as a 360 controller, but i still can't play. Only the
touchpad work, he move my mouse cursor on the main menu.

And i try a lot of configuration in the steam controller settings but nothing work. Never had a problem like this

also gamse like this that use the steamapi exclusively have another issue whereby the controller template it uses may refuse to download. In that case, simply run any other game that uses xinput first, then relaunch the steamapi game and it should work.

you do have the "hide controller" option ticked in ds4 windows right? Else the pad will be picked up as 2 separate controllers

I try with the the "hide controller" option and starting another game before but still no improvement...I begin to despair ^^ I feel like I'll have to wait for a possible patch or play with the keyboard

Ds4 windows have some issues randomly cannot use the controller properly tested by me. Better buy xbox one controller for 100% compatability. Your problem is ds4.

I try with my old xbox360 controller and it still doesn't work. I really don't understand where the problem comes from. It's so weird

You need to enable and configure Steam Input.
