It's ok I'll do a fresh NG on whatever the highest unlockable difficulty is later.
Lol, there really isn't any shame in enjoying a game to be fair. I have beat Sekiro, Dark Soul 3, Nioh 2. The difficulty curve in this game just makes monsters have more HP and do more damage which seems lazy to me and kinda pointless. I don't see any changes in monster behavior.
I made the mistake of starting on Normal, but you don't earn much of any SP doing that. It takes forever to make any game progress.
Monster variety is relatively low anyway, a ton of reskinned enemies.
