ps4 controller movement "stutter"
Has anyone else noticed "stutter" when shifting the stick slightly? As in I am running forward, then move the stick a bit left or right and instead of smooth motion to change direction, it stutters a bit. More noticeable without motion blur off and walking.

Basically, hold forward on joystick and lightly try and rotate to moving left or right. Character stutters, like its not fully 360 movement. Thoughts?

I'm not on controller, and I get stuttering. Voices cut out, and i get MINOR stuttering when playing in general.

Shodan, i have the same issue, i've posted the question on different places. Didn't find a solution yet. What i can say is it's something related to the controller. It's not a performance or frame issue, it's input related. I'm playing with a xbox elite series 2, same problem with a regular xbox360 controller. I'm on a desktop but i also tried on my laptop and i have the same issue. I think it's coming from the "workaround" they gave us for the controller via steam input. I hope they fix this. If you find a solution let me know.

A lot of people are saying that moving it to an SSD fixes it.

Good Night Owl you are talking about basic game stutter like performance stutter. That's not the issue here. Everybody is confusing this issue with basic stutter, because we use the same word but it's not. While the character movement is having "stutter" the camera movement and fps remains butter smooth. The game doesn't "freeze", it's only on the character animation.

Probably SteamInput related. I really hate games that use SteamInput rather than XInput/DirectInput, and this is the latest one to do so.

This is an issue with an Xbox Core controller as well and I also have M.2 SSD (970 EVO), so I don't think it's an SSD issue.

It happens with playstation 4 and 5 controllers too, i think it's steam input causing the problem.

Or it could just be the way they've programmed analog movement in the game. I really don't think it has anything to do with SteamInput.

it doesn't happen on one of the two cracked versions. But it does for me on the steam official ultimate, so it's not totally hardcoded in the game. The difference between the two cracks are the steam files.

Found this thread through google. Darksiders 3 has this same issue. When I have steam input enabled all the diagonal analog movement becomes weirly jittery.
