Game not launching

I click play and it starts to launch but then nothing happens.
I've done everything that steam says to try in their support for when this happens with games but it still is not working. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

I'm having the exact same problem. Have you found a fix? There's a clickbait ish youtube that does the typical "Update drivers, update OS, etc" stuff.

I'm on Win 7 64 bit myself but it should be runnable on it.

I did find a fix. I went and ran the game as administrator.

the first way this site shows what i did and it worked. you can try some of the others too if that one doesnt work.

Confirmed it was administrator privlleges breaking it. I think berseria or vesperia had the same problem and I completely forgot about it.

Ok. I bought this game and tested. Game perfectly work on windows 7 SP1 64 bit. Xbox controller also good working.

I know the thread is ancient but I was unable to run this at all on Windows 11. There may be some problem with the xinput and using sunshine as well - obviously I want to stream this and use a controller. Doesn't seem to work on a modern system.

Game doesn't support XInput, it requires Steam Input. You won't be able to stream the Steam version.

You can use Special K's mod to fix that though. It'll patch the game to use XInput.
