I don't own the game yet, just wondering. I've seen you get some random items, traits and skills. Is there any choice in terms of how you assign those, given how few of them you get and the fact they're bound to a squad? If the game is just about positioning and how you distribute the squads between islands, then it would feel a bit too simplistic of a strategy game to me....

I unlocked everything in the game, but I want a fresh start. I thought that the game would be reset because I reinstalled Windows, but after the installation I have all the progress such as Codex being full and having saves. How can I reset it all?

Hey I'm having trouble trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I feel like whatever I try my soldiers die way to easily on island 2 for me to even have a chance at making a strategy to work things out. Choke points don't work, I can't upgrade, I can't find any abilities or other deployment options than just one team of melee soldiers that die super fast. I'm trying out playing on Hard, but right now it feels completely impossible. What am I doing wrong?...
