If it's somehow currently deactivated from the Dev's then there's very likely a good reason for it. Maybe the feature was causing a lot of issues. So absolutely no reason to make such a drama about it!
I was expecting this reaction but think for a moment.
It was a feature during the time when I was thinking about buying the game (I tried the game during free weekend) and later, after I already bought and played the game for some time, it got removed.
And do you really think that if a person likes gore (by the way I never mentioned gore, but let's go with that idea too) or the fact that they can see permanent, or "longer" changes to the battlefield, like corpses staying for a longer while, they have to be insane in real life?
Killing someone is okay, but wanting to have their dead body be in the game for few more minutes is sick, yes?
I think you smell like ♥♥♥♥ stain in joe bidens diaper
Like I said nothing has been removed from the game. Body timer can still be set to 5 minutes like always. But please continue your drama folks.
It can be set, but it won't change anything... even if you have it set to 5 minutes bodies disappear after 20 seconds
That's so stupid... I mean, people who want more fps could obviously set it to a low value. And that's how it should be by default, but give us, people who want it, an option to increase it
Exactly, you could tell where players got killed in the last few minutes and be more aware in that location
Every single common sense post like yours, has some absolute r*(tard like Emme. Sometimes i don't even think they're real people
So the bodies do provide practical indicators/warnings..
Never mind that it adds tons to the immersion. True story: the reason i bought and installed this game is because i was playing the beta the first time and was like, meh, it's ok i guess. Then a shell struck where my squad was, the guy in front of me was completely blasted , so were a few others, the rest were just dead, with bodies everywhere. That's when i had a "wow" moment and actually felt like i "survived" something BIG. Imagine not having all that, that moment would've never occurred. And i know this is about disappearing timers but just saying, it's all for immersion. Same people that piss on disappearing timers are the ones saying they don't mind no blood/gore in inherently gory games, like those of ww2.
I completely get you. The last game that did this for me before HLL was Red Orchestra 2 and that was a long while ago. So when HLL managed to make me feel like that again in a videogame, I instantly fell in love.
Also, you could make the bodies stay longer in RO2 if you edited an .ini config file, so I was happy that in HLL you could do this in-game with settings... and for some reason the setting is still there, it just doesn't work (and it's already been more than a year)
