Grenade spam is atrocious
The amount of throwed grenade is insane.. it's like a bombing run or arty barrage.. if you are defending a small object prepare yourselft a coffin.. you will use all your bandages (and die) or killed instantly. Do you think some balance is needed?

Yet back on topic, isn't it a tactic these days to spawn inside a circle and lay on the ground, hole up inside a house and or trenches.. it's very hard to clear those things without handgrenades.. running in turning a corner there might be a bad guy waiting for you.. grenade first then you follow isn't that standard operating procedure ;-)

Grenade spam was not uncommon in real war, you could never have enough grenades!

At certain times in game it can be really bad. Especially with most people having 2 grenades, the US grenades u can throw both fast, and the respawn system because you can redeploy very fast and have more grenades to throw.
Yes it is...
same as any other fps except its less frequent and less effective on large maps due to respawn timers.

id say HLL is probablly the least affected fps for nade spam.

also..............dont forget your not supposed to enjoy enemy grenades!

It is balanced by limited number of grenades per player and role and by cover.
If you stand around in the open and get an enemy grenade throwing your direction, you're doing it wrong.

Well, tell me how to convince americans to not throw 20 grenades on the capture point while you are defending the last objective as German in Hurtgen forest whit only logs as cover :)

Yep.. the main problem Is the respawn system, many you kill, more will respawn and simply throw randomly some grenades in the point

its realistic

In fact for more realism I would add more grenades! thats right. There are not enough grenades. Watching tons of combat videos and they have lots of grenades. In the pacific and stalingrad they bring them to the front in crates and let people have at them. In stalingrad they even had pouches with people carrying 10+ grenades

I remember in the original CoD where you could toss nades from spawn into the enemy spawn if you knew the angles. :P A real pain on S&D
