"Let's nerf the amount of healing for the only healing class in the game."
The cooldowns are fine to complain about, but the trees would likely need to be reworked. They're not off-chain abilities, they are parts of a chain. It may not happen instantly. Why not give them Holy Light as part of a chain instead of a knockdown in both "DPS" trees?
But, if you nerf the only healing in the game's healing... what happens? There isn't a healer. The CC may be an issue, but please leave their healing alone. Otherwise, you have a class and parties that can't finish content because there's no healer.
The healing in this game isn't cookie-cutter, you can't use what you want when you want to. You have 2 healing abilities, and a damage reduction. Then the chains to complete them. Please don't gimp the game's only healer because you're mad at their CC.
And a lot of what I see mentions their CC as an issue, which may be true... however, in the same token I see "they are healers, why do they have so much CC?"
... So individuals who play Paladins can't be DPS? They are sanctioned to healing and healing alone, or am I not understanding? Comparatively, their DPS is absolute ass compared to some other the other classes I play.
I totally Agree with everything your saying don't nerf our only Healer, they need to survive to keep the group alive.
I play a Mage and a Paladin and I have been beat by other classes and the Paladin's DPS is not really that high.
On same level mobs I have to go through 3 full chains to kill them and that with all blue gear.
I say to all those that can't beat a Paladin, play as one to learn there weakness then you can beat them.
And you are a paladin 100% :)
If you think paladin at the moment is freaking balanced then you seriously need to get a grip of urself.
They are nowhere NEAR beeing balanced.
Tell me is a stun with no cooldown balanced?
Tell me a paladin that can HEAL AND DPS does more DMG than a DAMAGE focused class such as a mage?

Since when does paladin do more damage than mage. Seriously, half the people complaining are just making crap up to fuel the hate train leading this game to everyone having 30 second cooldowns and being unable to attack.
I have a paladin, got it to 30 and gave up because it's an absolute chore to play. The damage is laughable compared to guardian and mage. Also every CC I have has a 15-45 second cooldown.
It doesn't. There is no effective way to output heals and "DPS" (real DPS, or real heals) as a Paladin. There are cooldowns between stances -- unless someone has discovered otherwise.
Yes, Paladin can heal in two stances -- and in a VERY POOR OUTPUTTING DPS stance, they have a single heal. That's true. There will not be individuals who regularly play the "Sacriice Stance," because once your channel is complete, you will have lost 75% of your health pool in order to complete the chain. Perhaps if you have another dedicated Paladin healing, maybe?

Is that exceptional to you? There is ONE recent video that I found of "CC spam" for a Paladin -- but please explain to me how that correlates to nerfing their heals -- or damage?
Paladins' damage is not comparable to other classes, that is clear. The only thing they are capable of is "CC spam," but in order to spam CC they need a "DPS" stance active. There is a standard ~10s duration between stances. It is not possible to spam CCs and heals simultaneously.
The "Protection Stance" has a single heal but it can only be used roughly every ~7+ seconds if you factor in completion of the entire combo chain. I do understand the frustration towards Paladin's CC, but what I don't understand is the focus on their heals and damage.
In your frustration, why would you break the game's only class that can currently heal for progression? And why would you make the players choose between what little DPS paladins can do, or healing only? What about solo PvP, or solo content?
Paladins should be completely broken because a few individuals are upset? I'm sorry, but it doesn't make sense.

I'm just curious as to the basis of these claims. A lot of them seem biased, but I don't understand why. Please don't shut down the game's only healer.
I enjoy all classes, but that truly makes no sense to me from a progressive standpoint.
A more current duel with same guardian I believe ended in a "draw": the duration of the duel ended and neither the participants died but he lost since he had 1/4 hp and the paladin, wonder of wonders!, was full health.
Uninstall your game please, we don`t need more cance in game. Or at least have the decency to stop posting BS on this thread.

This is exactly what I don't understand. The unbiased frustration to the point that you're blatantly mad. You have no valuable points to add, no insight into anything. You are simply argumentative and are... humorously, "self centered."
I asked a simple question, added YouTube videos that are post-nerf, and wanted clarification.
Hopefully, they won't fix anything that isn't actually broken and you'll be one of the first to "uninstall your game" because your logic is "fundamentally broken."
Even so, until you figure out what you're actually thinking behind your... rage? crying? anger? idonthavenayonetotalktoirlsoibettertellpeopletouninstallonforums? I don't want to argue. If anyone else would like to comment, though, I don't mind being wrong and would... still like clarification behind how overpowered in DPS and healing the Paladin is... (please note, it's the only healer... so what are we comparing it to?... and when it does more DPS than a mage, I won't have anything further to say).
I just don't want the ONLY healing class in the game to fail at healing content. There is barely anything to progress through as is; without healers, everyone will be stuck in front of dungeons -- angry because "dude our healer sux, letz get anuther 1... o wait..."
At least there will be PvP, right?
*edit* Guess I should be constructive. Maybe CC diminishing returns in PvP? The timing on the paladin DPS chains is stable right now for PvE. Their damage is very low it's just the CC that seems to bother people.

If you never played the class how can you seriously complain to it? You simply cant, because you miss the required knowledge. Go play all the classes and understand that your nerf-QQ is just nonsense if you understand how to play the classes usefull and effective.
But no... its better to QQ all the way..
