Reporting Moderator abuse on Official Discord

Laine here, so I would like to thank an anonymous reddit poster for taking the time to get these screenshots as I could not since I was banned. I will now provide context to the story since there is now proof of what I stated. Please note that MY comments and the comments of the person "A True Lady" have been removed as per usual banning procedures from discord servers, so I will provide what happened in response to the images.

The user A True Lady was banned after being discriminated against for their pfp having an attractive woman in it. The users who were saying rude remarks like "Work part time on this ♥♥♥♥" or that she looked like a porn star were not banned.

In the first image Little Jinny calls A True Lady out as a "thot" because they was talking about the 200 dollar pack and said nothing about them being a woman or anything. So it was completely unprovoked. Then Trinty3s says that A True Lady is a dude.

A true lady says something about how because they are attractive, powerful, and successful. Basically what I got was that they were trying to say A True Lady was a fake because they are these things since women can't be attractive or successful and play games apparently.

Then A True lady states they work part-time as a pediatrician I believe and then Trinity3s proceeds to say they can work part time on their ♥♥♥♥...

Then I said something about male fragility and then Huggybear responds with lul then Penta the mod responds with "powerful, successful... and banned" Then proceeds to ban her then myself from the chat while not even banning anyone using inflammatory remarks toward A True Lady.

If this isn't mod abuse or discrimination then what is it?

I had posted this to reddit but that has the same moderators and there have be NUMEROUS reports of Penta the Panther abusing their power and banning people for no reason.

I stated what she said in the posts and it matches up with the replies. Ask the mods why they deleted the comments from the banned users, if anything I'd be more than happy to show what I wrote but I can't because they deleted it.

There's no proof at what you and the other party, A True Lady, actually said but we're to take you at your word that it was completely on the up and up and you were unjustly banned. Okay then.

If it's the same, I'll base my opinion on the fact I've been in the discord since October and if anything, I believe Penta should drop the ban hammer/time out options far more heavily. He gives people far too many chances and time outs before actually booting them from server x:

Did say he gives people alot of chances and warnings, there's nothing saying the person wasn't warned since those are through DMs. Guy didn't talk much after the fact so it's probable they were.

It's the same reason why I can't just trust that the OP wasn't similarly warned and opted to ignore it to pursue an agenda or otherwise keep the pot stirring. Or that 'A True Lady' wasn't someone who was timed out before for instigating the same drama before as people get timed out for something, decide if they change how their name looks in the server that it must mean a new set of warnings because obviously server logs aren't that detailed and try to masquerade as someone new. There's been repeated occurrences of that.


I suppose these sort of things make it very easy to paint oneself as a obvious victim and build a soap box on, because it's a lot of 'take me at my word' sort of thing for both parties. But that's why I can't take such complaints seriously.

Edit: OP, did you bother to try and DM Cheshire or Zephyr -both staff in discord- about the matter? Considering you had a friend send you screenies after your apparent banning, they could probably give you the their discord ID and they have access to server logs to look into the matter. Or was this more of a jump straight to social media to try and rally the pitch forks and torches? Because honestly, if you didn't bother to resolve it through proper channels before attempting to stir up some drama and sling mud then yeah, there's no reason to think you're actually being sincere about the matter.

Guys say in general that a good looking, good playing and in job successfull female must be fake. Thats also why its sometimes better pretending to be a guy in games to avoid these "You must be a guy", till they hear your voice in Teamspeak. At least I never heard like "You are fake guy, you must be a girl". Don't know what really happened in discord and won't visit there, but it sounds like its a big place for drama.
