It's not a tip, they have a big something...
There is a mission for Ginger's condition, I think it triggers some time after the main story is over, if I remember right.
Do note that originally there was no treatment. Ginger was going to die eventually and the player could do nothing about it. They added the treatment after lot of player outcry.
It's interesting concept rarely explored in games and even when it is, the NPC will die doing some noble sacrifice rather than dying naturally to the their condition. Wast majority of story NPC deaths are result of acts of violence though, usually something player then has to avenge afterwards. It might've been better to put the condition on side character and not one of the player's main bribe candidates though it would not have had the same impact then.
People are curious why this bright and fun game has something like this in it?
The answer is simple: Chinese.
The game is made by Chinese, and they love their damn dramas ever-so-much.
And there is hardly anything more dramatic than a pretty snowflake of a girl succumbing to some incurable illness. Really cliche crap honestly, but they love it to pieces.
That's like totally what i am looking for in a bright fun little game - more drama, with a bonus of realism sprinkled in. /sarcasm
Well, at least i know now which character to stay the hell away from.
Now before white-knights appear and start to barrage me with their self-righteous bs, i did not intend any offense but i think it's best to leave your RL stuff where it belongs - in RL.
Just sayin'.
And yes, I would like to spend some money on such a DLC !
