[Fixed] [Solution] Game Creation Failed - failed to create a game

[EDIT] It seems that thanks to @pew pew pew I found solution.

[SOLUTION] Make sure that you only have one network running while you play the game. For etc disable things like (VMware Network Adapter VMnet1) in "Network & Sharing Center" Which can be found in controll panel (Large/Small icons) thank you. if you want image of what I am talking about please just message me on steam thx.

3 months ago when I last played the game it worked fine but now. It seems to not work at all, Is there anything I could do to try and fix it?

I have tried these fixes

• I put -tcp in Steam game options launch.
  
• I put -tcp in config exe in command box
  
• Uninstalled Hammachi
  
• Restart my pc
  
• I tried to verify game cache did not work

I sent email to support dev. (it's pinned in steam fourms)
I have windows 8

alright there is a common fix for these problems, if ur game is corrupted verify game cache. I would tell u how to do it, but i do not remeber (as i have not needed to do this in aroudn ayear) i know it works, and if another member of the community could help refresh my memory it would be great

I have Windows 8, I shall take a very close look at thread. I hope it solves my issue.

That's the info which was needed :)

Windows 8 user needs to deactivate the ethernet adapter of the installed virtual machine or vpn client. Dungeon Defenders recognizes just the first or last ethernet adapter, it isn't smart enough to select the right one.

Sorry to ask but, How do you deactivate the ethernet adapter of the installed virtual machine or vpn client. I do have Hola that is VPN Service. And I do have VMware Network Adapter. How do I disable that. I never done it before.

The ones you have to disable are called VMware Network Adapter or similar. (Thanks for pointing out the actual names of the adapters.)

Thank you for you're help, you not only helped me fix this issue that stopped me from playing game online. But now I can share this information cross steam fourms with this solution. Thank you very much, oh and I can finnaly get dem achievements. Through I lost friend because I could not host when I was trying to explain the truth. the silly bugger thought I was lieing. Just make sure only one network is running while the other network drives are disbaled in Network & Sharing Center. Also could you explain the networks that come up when you vist that.

What can i do if its show me
Validating steam files 100% complete
3 files failed to validate and will be reacquried
