Static discharge decks are awesome!
I really encourage to everyone to give em a try without getting any orb slots. Today i had a crazy run doing a static discharge deck and got average of 10 orb summons per hit, sadly i never got a Electric Storm card (deal 7/9 if upgraded dmg as many time a thunder orb has been summon during the combat, cost 3) u can imagine the crazy dmg i would be doing because i was always using good defense cards to minimize hp lost but still getting the thunder procs.

Did they change it? Last time I tried using static blocked damage didn't give me orb. :steamsad:

Static Discharge is a power (now at least) that summons a thunder orb each time u get hp dmg upgraded it summons 2, if you have that skill that makes ur power play twice or have echo form (wich is hella expensive to pull off) you will generating a lot of thunder orbs every time you get hit making like a counter function (since u dont use additional orb slots and u proc minimun 6 using 3 static discharges) u would be dealing 48 dmg to an enemy or random dmg split if multiple enemies(wich is the main weakness of any rng deck tbh) if you have all the 3 orbs spot already saturated, and like i stated on my OP if u have Electric Storm on the deck you are a monster on the fight after being hitted a couple of times.

I didn't even build for it. I just grabbed two Static Discharges on a lark, upgraded them, and the Time Eater was hitting himself for 96 damage almost every turn.

So... Basically build to block most but not all the damage so the enemy keeps whacking themselves?

Sounds feasible. Now I just have to get over my fear of masochism.

I could see it working but it'd be risky on the final elites/bosses. You're basically counting on getting to the final boss with enough HP and hoping he kills himself faster than you run out of HP.

As an aside, has anybody actually had any Donu X Deca wins? I just realized every single one of my Defect wins has been Time Lord/Awakened One. I haven't found a deck that is safe enough to carry me to the end and scales fast enough to pop DxD before they go HAM.

I smashed their face with a turbo-streamline-sunder deck.

Almost inclined to say this doesn't count because I built my deck around fan, and then marbles and kunai dropped to boot, so it was a pretty hard carry.

Edit for a run from today. Less broken but still quite strong. The deck got too big near the end so I'm debating whether gambling chip over finesse would've been a smarter purchase.

Editing this yet again like a r3tard because I managed to outramp dnd with ice. Some severe trouble against trash mobs though. It all comes down to the openers which were often pretty meh. I need to use more card draw and energy cheats.

Shuriken was a nice add but wasn't really a crutch.
