Daily Challenge difficulty/rng
i wonder if you guys ever tested daily climb. its pretty much impossible unless you get lucky with the rng you left (for e.g. pray to transform a card). I like the challenge but its nonsense if you cant beat it (no matter how i try to build the deck). i suggest you implement some rng, it should matter which route you pick and not be the same enemies/events in some stupid sequence.

Haven't been able to beat a single one yet. Got to the Floor 2 Boss on today's Daily, I felt that was quite an accomplishment.

I feel like Daily Challenge is more along the lines of how high can you get your score and less about beating it; they just need somewhere to track and compare daily scores. I've beaten a few of them but yeah they're pretty difficult.

i have tried today's beta almost a dozen times and it doesn't feel like RNG regardless of the first battle i click its always the curl bugs and my deck order is the same and the rewards are the same. A little dissapointing to see that the RNG isn't random at all.

Well, I think the map is generated with the same random seed for everyone. It's actually meant to be played once, although it can be fun to try and perfect a run of course.
The fun part is that everyone can really compare now because everyone uses the same seeds.

Now, I think that the random numbers change a bit with each decision (probably even which cards you play), meaning that any small change will set in motion a butterfly effect that will completely change the end-game, even if the start is identical.

If you're not into the repetitiveness, I would advise taking each daily challenge only one?

the first few dailies even the card draw were exactly same order, not sure if changed. and rng doesnt change with each decision, because the events and enemies are always the same. (for example you get the 3 birds in act 2 no matter where you start). On top of that the card reward after a fight show the same cards for everyone, thus the only rng left are events or relics with random cards (astroglobe, pray for a card, choose 1 out of 20 for example. The relics are also the same for everyone you can only vary for boss relics. (all other relics are sequenced)

So there is no such thing like a butterfly effect. Its also very frustating that you cant see how top ranks acquire their high score. Would be nice to see what deck they used, of course only after your first attempt in daily climb. This would add alot of replayability to daily climb because people would try a similar run and it would be much appreciated for the learning process.

It's not supposed to be easily beatable. I'm pretty much ignoring the dailys for now because I'm not that good at the game. Once I've played enough though it'll be nice to have a challenge.

Really . i just bought the game and in my third run i decided to try the daily challenge , I was so op that i thought that the daily challenge was easy and won without losing atleast half HP.

I just tried 2 daily challenges, i beat the 2. I had a OP Deck, I think this was luck.

dailies are nothing compared to the first few dailies you literally cant lose now, anyway still waiting for feature to see how highest score achieved their score

Yeah, the last few dailies have been insanely easy but extremely fun. They definitely changed things.
