Then again why every relic need to be good or OP? There can be also the fun/unexpected side of the game?
I would decrease it's cost maybe but i think it's a cool relic and should be in the fun side
The issue is not that it is not good (though, as a Shop Relic (has to be specifically bought), some base utility would be nice), the issue is that it is literally detrimental to have, because it dilutes the pool of Cards without giving much anything in return.
In other words, buying it is a net loss even ignoring the cost.
Increasing the chance of Uncommon Cards would at least mean that it has some more benefit to, hopefully, drown out the downside of diluted Card pool. And making Neutral Cards actually appear would be according to its effect-description to begin with.
True Grit in a Silent deck would be so OP
If i am in A20 tryharding probably i don't even have enought money to buy it since i would much rather remove a strike
In normal run i like to dream bigger you know?
Don't get me wrong, I find the concept of this relic to be cool, but somehow it doesn't... fit (as for the lore). IC gets his hands on this, and can suddenly channel orbs? Defect can suddenly juggle around with poisoned knives? And Silent can become a pumped up muscular DEMON? Sorry, she is a Wraith to me :P
Just a reminder, all I said is only my opinion under the condition we're talking about normal story-runs, not daily or custon shenanigans.
So I think Prismatic Shard should only enable the colorless cards to be in your reward pool, not the other 2 colors. But not with a too high chance of them appearing.
Do not mistake me either, I do not fancy this Prism either much any. But, assuming its nature is not to change fundamentally, this was the easiest fix I could figure.
I would, in fact, prefer Prism the way you figure it, but making it so that one out of the three choises given is always a random Neutral.
Too rare a chance and one used 200+ Gold on nothing at all.
