Maw Bank from Merchant - Interaction Improvement?

If you buy maw bank from the merchant and then buy a card, potion, or card removal from that merchant, the maw bank is immediately disabled. Honestly, it makes perfect sense considering the interaction, but if you buy the maw bank and then after decide to remove a card or something, it feels pretty bad.

The obvious answer is to say "well just remove the card first and THEN buy the Maw Bank!". Yes, this makes sense, but I think that it would also make sense if the Maw bank didnt deactive on gold spend until at least the next level so that a player doesnt make the same mistake I did in buying a maw bank and then removing a card and still thinking that I had the maw bank moving forward.

Yeah, making the Maw Bank not crack unless you've climbed a floor since obtaining it would prevent feel bad moments from not optimizing you action order in shops.
