Report a translation problem
I was leaning more towards clarity of the game mechanics effected, but after doing some googling, I found that the way the game is using "rather than" is wrong and that is why it sounded unclear to me.

"Rather than" should be replaced with "instead of" to be more clear as it is replacing the value and not comparing the values.
