Report a translation problem
If it is in steamapps\common\slaythespire , enable file name extensions in explorer's view tab and ensure it's still only a .jar (rare case of visible extension by default), right click to check its properties and ensure it's not read-only.
Try deleting it so the game recreates it after restarting stom and game, run steam or slaythespire.exe as admin, uninstall java if you ever installed it yourself, unless perhaps you're on w7 where it actually might be needed for compatibility although I doubt it.
Thanks for help! Turn out it's all because the anti-virus program. Reinstalled it when the program was turn off would do. Still thanks for reply, otherwise I could never find the solution myself.
