Doube Tap Doesn't Stack
I had two Double Taps in my hand, 1 upgraded, and 1 not upgraded. I used them both, and then used a Heavy Blade. It only hit twice instead of the expected three times. I tried again with Whirlwind later, same result.

Pretty sure that's intended.

Yeah it stacks the other way, you play two Double Taps, your next two attacks get doubled, rather than your next attack getting tripled. Burst is the same.

That's fine if it is, but the text should state that. Although I had high hopes of my double double tap looking really cool...

Eh, it's fine. It does exactly what it says it does, the literal text is "your next card is played twice", not "your next card is played one extra time" so I'd say there's no ambiguity, plus that's consistent with how literally every other temporary effect in the game stacks too, blur, intangible, weak and vulnerable, etc. If you play two phantasmal killers, you don't deal quadruple damage next turn, you deal double damage for you next two turns though.

EDIT: I do agree that it would look pretty cool to double double tap say, a bludgeon if it worked that way. I swear however good bludgeon isn't (and it is not good) that card has my favourite animation in the entire game.
