Neon achievement bug?

It says channel 9 plasma in a single turn. I've channeled almost 50 and it doesn't trigger.

Also I tried 9 orb slots all filled with plasma and still doesn't trigger. Am I missing something?

Modded does for sure. Unless you mod it to not disable achievements.

I tried with mods as well. Still won't trigger. Tried a new save slot, still nothing. I am getting really annoyed by this.

If anyone has any other ideas please share. I am kind of opsessed with this right now.

open STSAchievements with notepad and weave this in:
"NEON": "true"

Which will basically force the game to give you the achievement, fyi.

Thanks, but a miraccle happened I launched the game and it unlocked after beating act 1 boss with defect. Phew I can go to sleep now :)

I know I'm late to the post, but I'm encounter a similar issue where getting the Plasma Orbs from casting Meteor Strike 3 times didn't get me the achievement. But as I continue the fight, where I cast it a few more times. the achievement pops up for me.

I am speculating that the achievement also checks for how many times you have played plasma-related cards, and you still have to use it 9 times even if each Meteor Strike is generating 3 Plasma Orb. If you're reading this from the future, you might want to try that.
