Abacus and Wild Strike did not proc

I had taken a few Wild Strike cards in my run and bought the Abacus from the merchant. For some reason the abacus did not proc when playing Wild Strike even if Wild Strike clearly says that it shuffles a Wound into your draw pile. Was this as intended? Is there a difference between shuffling your draw pile and shuffling a card into it?

It's when you combine your draw pile and discard pile. Abacus would be quite hilarious if it procced from enemies shuffling statuses into your draw pile.

Makes sense. They should maybe rephrase abacuse to "whenever you shuffle your discard back into your draw pile" for clarity
