Stuck on Beta Art with all cards
Ever since the update that added the fourth act on the main branch of the game, I've been stuck with the Beta art on all of my cards, even before "unlocking" them properly. I did not modify anything in game files whatsoever. The only thing I can think of is that I had the Beta art turned on in the Beta branch (which shouldn't affect the main branch).

Things I've tried that did not work:
- Verifying game files
- Reinstall the game
- Win a run to unlock the beta art, then turn it off
- Switch to the beta branch, turn it off there, then switch back to main

Any idea on how to fix it?

Perhaps the shader_cache contains the card art.

Had this issue myself, found a fix for it, follow these instructions and you should be able to disable the Beta Art:

  1. Close Slay The Spire if it isn't already.
  2. Right click on Slay The Spire in steam and click on Properties
  3. Click on the Local Files Tab, then the Browse Local Files button.
  4. Go into the preferences folder and find the STSGameplaySettings file.
  5. Open the file in Notepad or Notepad++
  6. Find "Playtester Art", change "true" to "false", then save the file.

This should turn all the card art from the beta art to the release art.

Thanks so much, I have been struggling with this for so long...

For anyone this isn't working for on a specific character (my beta art was stuck on for Ironclad only), there's another two files in the same place called STSBetaCardPreference and STSBetaCardPreferenceBackup.

Open those and find/replace 'true' with 'false'
