Not sure if this is a bug or a neat trick
I came across N'loth, and he asked for black star or strawberry. So I went with Strawberry and gained N'loth's gift. However I did not lose 7 max HP (strawberry). Is this a bug or a neat trick. Becasue I ended up giving nothing and gaining something pretty neat.

Yeah, if the relic N'loth wants is one of the relics that only applies its effect on pickup, then you're basically getting the Gift for free.

N'loth can only appear if you have at least 2 relics in Act 2.
He will ask for a random relic in your possession for the first option. And he'll ask for one of your Boss Relics for the second option.

oh... that's why it's always the boss relic... so the ringing bell thing would be great as well
