Infernal Blade (Ironclad)

So when you play Infernal Blade it gives you a random attack card that costs 0 except when it gives you a card that costs x, like whirlwind.

Is this intentional or a bug?

That's just how "X-Cost" cards work.
I think that Infernal Blade & Distraction should have X-Cost cards omitted from their draw pools, since X-Cost cards kind of negate the entire point of using them.

Yeah they should get them out of the draw pools then haha
