Fiend Fire + Dark Embrace broken?

The combo that I assumed would happen is that Fiend Fire would exhaust all cards in your hand, then after the damage is dealt, Dark Embrace would then replace all cards you have in your hand that you exhausted. However, Dark Embrace does nothing in this case.

Hey rtrb, I just tested this and the logic appears to be functioning properly.
Let me know if there were any other circumstances or factors you believe may have caused this issue

did you play a card that disallows you from drawing for the rest of the turn?
