Can't capture on OBS in fullscreen/native resolution

As the topic says - when the game first opened, it did so in a window and OBS captured it. When I set the resolution to match my native monitor resolution, I get a black screen. Any idea what's going on? It only seems to happen if I try to run at fullscreen or borderless window...

Spare your sanity and just capture it in a window.
OBS works in mysterious ways, and this game isn't flawlessly coded either. Like, print screen somehow yields a screenshot from minutes ago unless you alt-tab out first.
