for you guys to beat the game the first time. it took me 16.2 hours total hours

I beat the spire for the first time as Ironclad in 6 hours. no tutorials, hints, or outside help. Probably was my 5th or 6th try.

Do you mean kill the heart or just finish Act 3 ? Because killing the heart took me a lot longer than that, and I still haven't beaten the heart with Watcher.

To finish Act 3, it was on my very second run, so probably 4 hours or so. Act 4 took longer.

I beat my very first run. That was many years and balance patches ago, though I'm not sure if the game is overall easier or harder than it was then. It took me several more attempts to get a second win after that though.

about 25 hours or so I think? Granted this was also pre-watcher days when it was an entirely different iirc, and I had a LOT of TCG habits to unlearn that were really getting in my way

Beating normal mode was easy beatjng the heart felt like a struggle. I can't remember numbers now but I'm pretty sure I beat the Act 3 boss within the first three runs I did it honestly may have even be first. I did it with all characters first and I rember with Defect and the Silent I first tried those as well. Beating the heart was substantially harder and took me many more attempts. Probably like 10 to 15 the first time.
